While holding both handlebars, press the front brake lever to prevent the motorcycle from rolling. Align the motorcycle straight; and raise to vertical position. Use your left foot to release the side stand. Shift gear to neutral position. Turn your head and look behind to see oncoming traffic and/or pedestrians. Continue pressing on the front brake lever. Raise your right leg and swing over the motorcycle. Place your right foot on the footrest. Make sure to do this when engine is turned off.
