Upon the arrival of Yamaha MT-15 in the country, Yamaha Motor Philippines thought it was a great idea to bring members of motorcycle media to a fun-filled adventure in Rizal featuring the new MT-15, a hyper naked motorcycle that exudes MT identity.
Showcasing the new model’s power and capabilities, YMPH took their media friends to a night road trip aboard the MT-15, the newest member of the MT series.
Being challenged by an inclement weather, riders did not stop their eagerness to have a great experience with the said vehicle. The group started the ride from YZONE located in Greenfield District Mandaluyong, traversing the 48 km route to their first stop over in Pico De Pino Café located at Marilaque Highway. Likewise, the cold atmosphere didn’t bother them at all as they made their way to Baras, for a total route of 73 km.
Before the ride started, a short briefing was led by the Yamaha’s chief instructor of Motorsports and Safety Promotion, Mr. Neil Hindang. It was about safety, precautionary measures, and route, to make sure that every participant was guided for the trip.
When they arrived, the MT lineup of the MT-10, MT-09, MT-07, and MT-15 stood at the façade of Punta De Fabian. The location was decorated to the ‘Dark Side of Japan’ theme. Marketing Section Senior Manager of Yamaha, Mr. Jude Camus, officially welcomed them and marked the first media night ride.
YMPH had only one goal in bringing their media friends to this fun adventure and that is to highlight the advance features of the MT-15. According to the company, they want every rider to experience the combination of strong torque and sleek agility with the culture of the ‘darkside of Japan’.
By the end of the riding experience, the MT-15 has proven to be a motorcycle that has the right elements of design, performance and safety to bring excitement to its Filipino customers.
The MT-15 comes with three colors, Ice Fluo, Matte Blue and Tech Black, available in all Yamaha RevZone and 3S Shops nationwide with an SRP of PHP 159,000.
