Phoenix Petroleum Launches Contactless Payment

by MotoMag Philippines

With the country’s transition to the new normal, Phoenix Petroleum offers contactless payment options at its gas stations, the first in the oil industry, to ensure safety both for its employees and customers.

The company said that a total of 100 gas stations in Luzon now allow e-payment through Alipay, GCash, GrabPay, and WeChat Pay via QR code scanning.

Newly-elected Phoenix Petroleum President and COO Henry Albert Fadullon said, “Phoenix has always been an advocate of safe and secure service. While we continue to provide quality products to our customers, we are also very serious in our rally towards stopping the spread of COVID-19. We already made most of our employees work from home to avoid exposure to the virus. This time, we want to further ensure the safety of our customers by offering contactless transactions that could help flatten the curve.”

Phoenix Petroleum added that contactless transactions at its Visayas and Mindanao stations will also be implemented.
