July 25, 2021, The Wonderboy Mckinley Kyle Paz of Team Yamaha VR46 Mastercamp finishes 10th place in race 1 in the FIM CEV Repsol Moto 2 European Championship at the Motorland Aragon Circuit in Alcaniz, Spain.
Starting at 14th position and maintaining his place in the early laps Mckinley Kyle Paz moved to 13th on the 8th lap, he was only 0.8sec behind STK600 leader Escrig.
In Lap 11 after a rider crashes he overtook Escrig to move up to 11th place, 4 seconds behind Toledo. With only 2 laps to go, the Wonderboy was able to reduce it to 3 secs from 10th place. With only a lap to go another rider crashes and Mckinley Kyle Paz moved up to 10th place reducing it to 1.3 secs behind Toledo at the flag. When he was ask what was his game plan he said, “Nagfocus lang po ako sa paghabol, kinapos lang po ng laps sa huli pero maaabutan ko na siya”, during a zoom meeting organized by YMPH.
He was congratulated by everybody for finishing 10th place after 3 events so far. He was surprised with birthday greetings from his parents and girlfriend, and from Mr. Tony Boy Aquesta, Ms Jennifer Perey and Ms. Roxanne Lariego and friends from the media. Presented to Kyle was his birthday gift a brand new Yamaha Sniper 155! A gift he can not wait to ride when he gets home.
