Citimuber Offers Food, Grocery Delivery Services

by MotoMag Philippines

Citimuber, created as a one-stop app for transport and other personal needs, has announced that it has various services in place for all of us who are under the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ). With the suspension of public transportation, Citimuber offers food and grocery delivery, among others.

On the Food Delivery option, there’s a list of available restaurants in the area, although actual store hours/operations may be limited by the quarantine conditions. Some outlets have also been closed due to operational constraints.

Meanwhile, on the Grocery delivery option, a user can choose from the list of available supermarkets in the area and can start selecting items. Once done, proceed to checkout. Other charges like packing and handler/pabili will be added to the total bill. According to Citimuber, the service only caters to credit card payments as of now and will have to wait up to 3 days for the delivery of the goods.

Moreover, Citimuber also has “Driver For Rent” service where a user can hire a driver or a rider to do specific errands, like buying of multiple products in different stores of your choice.

Furthermore, Citimuber serves Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) as its riders are currently kept busy by orders from Filipinos in Hong Kong, the Middle East, and even Canada, who want to provide for their family’s needs during the current crisis.

According to Citimuber Founder, Rommel Villaroman, who’s an OFW himself, Citimuber grocery delivery service enables OFWs in HongKong to continue to provide for their family’s basic needs while following the government’s rules on ECQ. He added that Citimuber also offers a more favorable exchange rate for these OFWs, which, in turn, they are getting more value for their money.

Although the entire motorcycle taxi pilot study has been suspended due to current crisis in the country, Citimuber said that they are gearing up for the anticipated legalization of motorcycle taxis as a public transport mode. It has a 1,600sqm rider training facility in Caloocan City where safety seminars and skills assessments were held. About 10,000 riders have already enrolled and they are planning to resume recruitment and screening of new rider-applicants once conditions normalize.

Citimuber is available in Google Play Store for Android devices and in the Apple App Store for iOS devices.
